Windows 7 was officially launched on 22 October 2009. This step represents a milestone in efficiency, user friendliness and security on the part of Microsoft.  Handling Windows 7 is easy and intuitive, as everyday tasks have been optimised and simplified. Amongst other things, frequently used functions are now positioned to make them quick to find.

 

Maximum compatibility was an important aspect of the development of Windows 7. Highly positive features are the short start-up time, the high working speed during operation and the energy-saving management of resources.

 

The system supports many commonplace hardware components and applications, and also permits continued use of software developed for Windows XP within a virtual Windows XP environment.
End customers who do not yet wish to switch to Windows 7 can carry out a downgrade to the known Windows versions Vista and XP Professional when acquiring a PC system with pre-installed Windows 7.

Skyguide employs an Avaya Communication Manager VoIP System. This has a call distribution software that distributes the calls flexibly between the locations depending on the time of day, bank holidays or weekdays as well as the skills and availability of the agents. The Skyguide CRM tool could be combined with the Avaya telephony by means of "Computer Telephone Integration" (CTI). The agents are thus shown the latest customer data on screen with every call. On 1 June 2007, Felix Fischer joined our team as Head of Information Technology. Felix Fischer is 50 years old and previously worked as IT manager for AMAG Group. His extensive experience in the area of information technology, his background as an ETH-trained engineer and his ability to communicate fluently in English and French provide a very solid foundation for further development of our information technology business.

T&N Telekom & Netzwerk AG is expanding its branch office in Frauenfeld.

On 1 November 2006, Mister Ismaele Milo joined our team as Regional Manager for Eastern Switzerland.

“TOP 500”: Every year, a list of Switzerland’s leading information technology and communications companies is published. According to the latest rankings, T&N has improved its position from number 249 to 194.

One of SWISS most important argument was the focus on their core business, the flight operations. Besides flight operations the cost factor had also a large influence of outsourcing the voice infrastructure.
After an intensive evaluation phase, the outsourcing of the complete voice area was awarded to T&N.
The start succeeded – since 1 June 2005 T&N operates the voice outsourcing for SWISS.
