With effect from 1 October 2007, T&N will switch to Natural energy blue – energy from hydropower. For every 1 kWh, 1 Swiss centime goes into the Axpo Natural Energy Fund, which sponsors innovative projects from the area of renewable energy.

 

Natural energy blue – Energy from hydropower
Natural energy blue comes exclusively from certified medium and large hydropower plants in Switzerland, with an output of more than 1,000 kW per plant. These plants include hydropower plants on the Rhine, the Aare, the Reuss and the Limmat. When supplying this product, T&N can be sure that the entire volume of the energy that you consume comes to 100 % from renewable sources.

 

THINKING AHEAD – the promotion model – a good cause – Natural energy blue not only preserves the environment now but directs energy production to a more sustainable future. Consequently, from every kilowatt hour of energy sold, 1 Swiss centime goes towards the Axpo Natural Energy Fund. This fund finances innovative projects in the area of renewable energy, in order to convince even more people of the benefits of natural energy.

 

Good quality thanks to strict controls - EKZ Natural energy blue has been awarded the label of TÜV Süd (TÜV Süd issues certificates for high-quality ecological energy products). With this established label, T&N can be certain to purchase a natural energy product that meets high ecological standards.

 

MOVING AHEAD – on the way towards renewable energy, T&N considers this to be an altogether logical commitment in favour of the environment.
