IT Specialist System Technology(m/f)
Job description IT specialists are in high demand today and will remain so in future.Three areas of specialisation are offered for this profession:
- Applications development
- System technology
- Support
We train apprentices in the field of system technology. You areinvolved in the development of networks, servers and operatingsystems, and support the user in daily work with informationtechnology. IT specialists have a broad basic knowledge in the fields ofhardware and software, network technology, transmission and controlsystems. They work in the planning, installation, operation andmaintenance of IT systems and their applications.
Requirements In addition to enjoyment of and enthusiasm for IT, you have a quickgrasp and the ability to understand and implement work processes.You have the ability to explain these contexts and, by so doing,support the user with your expertise. Prerequisites Good qualifications at secondary school A level or from the tieredupper school with extended requirements. Qualification asMulticheck Technical IT Specialist with Swiss Certificate ofAptitude. Precise manner of working, good logical-abstractthinking, technical aptitude, commitment, you enjoy working withpeople, have the ability to work in a team and an open-mindedattitude towards new things. The ability to come to terms quicklywith new situations during customer assignments on site. Training The training lasts for 4 years. Our apprentices receive thefollowing training at our headquarters in Dietlikon:
- First year - basic training
- As from year 2, training on the job
- Six industry-wide courses are integrated into the year of basictraining, a further two are completed during the 2nd training year
Career perspectives Various further training opportunities are available followingsuccessful completion of the training and qualification as Swiss ITSpecialist in System Technology:
- Advanced Examination IT Specialist
- Business Data Processing Specialist HF/FH
- HF Information Technologist
- HF Information Technology Engineer
