Almost eight years to the day after XP and just under a year after Vista, Microsoft is now launching Windows 7. Microsoft obviously wishes to put the Vista failure behind it as quickly as possible. At the beginning of the year, the first Beta version of Windows 7 was still being tested, just nine months later the finished operating system is ready for the market.
